Detonator bag

The Detonator Bag is designed to protect soldiers when carrying electrical detonators/primary explosives for triggering  explosive devices. If an accident occurs and one detonator explodes, the specially designed system makes sure that the other detonators do not ignite due to chainreaction. The explosion stays in the shell/bag and thereby completely eliminates the risk to the operator/soldier. This option makes it possible to transport detonators and explosives on the same vehicle, helicopter or boat.

The multi strap system provides functionality and quick fastening of the ballistic unit to the existing equipment system of the personnel. The multi strap system can be customized for any type of equipment and the fabric can be chosen for any type of military uniform colour. The configuration of the bag is always the same when ordering the bag with the Nato stock number, but the appearance of the bag can afterwards be changed if so needed.

The bag is developed and tested in cooperation with the Danish Army and is used by Danish Armed Forces stationed abroad.

Ballistic protected inner compartment equipped with velcro for fast and easy fixation of the small ballistic protected detonator shell. The detonator block contains 4 detonators.

The 4 detonators are secured in the ballistic protective detonator block. The portable detonator storage unit is designed from high performance aramide and a special rubber in a sealed urea envelope.

The three components (bag, shell and detonator block) can separately be replaced if a damage has occured on one of the components.

Both the fabric as well as the multi strap system can be customized for any type of equipment.
