Disruptor Pigstick

The Pigstick Disruptor is an established “General Purpose” disruptor suitable for disruption of devices that are contained in packages such as parcels, briefcases, etc.

Pigstick has been in active service for over 25 years with many bomb disposal teams worldwide and has proven to be an extremely reliable method of disruption.

The Pigstick Disruptor is a multi-shot device capable of many firings and requires minimum maintenance. Training may be carried out using the equipment without detriment to its service performance.

Pigstick may be deployed using the supplied anti roll clamp, an optional lightweight stand or by mounting to a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) such as ABP’s Cyclops or Guardian. Preparation of the Disruptor is straightforward and quick to achieve and may be carried out remotely from the target to enhance operator safety.

Pigstick is constructed from non corroding stainless steel parts which are manufactured in accordance with ABP’s ISO 9001 quality approval system. Prior to release each equipment is subjected to an over pressure proof test and flaw detection.

AMMUNITION
The Pigstick is operated by a bespoke cartridge. Each batch of cartridges are ballistically tested to ensure correct and consistent performance. The cartridges are supplied in multiples of 18 packaged within an M2A1 container complete with all required consumable parts.
